Atlantic Quarter News

Objectives

To create a sense of excitement as well as the impression that we had moved 5 years into the future when the project was complete.

Components

A 5-minute news broadcast created to support the event displayed on LCD screens as people invited to the event were waiting to enter the main room. A well-known TV news presenter was filmed against green screen and placed into a virtual studio; the stock footage of news items were edited in to complete the illusion of the news broadcast; 3D intro and music were added.

Outcome

The broadcast was very well received on the night, lots of engagement by the audience, with the Minister writing in into his speech.
