Sorcha Holohan

Sorcha is a board member of the H+A Marketing & PR team, working with the company since its launch in 1999. Winning the Society of Designers of Ireland award brought Sorcha to work with Blarney Woollen Mills in Cork as the primary in-house designer for the hugely successful Fisherman Out of Ireland export knitwear range. Launching her own label, “SORCHA”, brought success with a luxury knitwear brand at both national and international levels.

Sorcha’s four young children drive a personal interest in education. In addition to her own four-year Design Degree, Sorcha now holds a Higher Diploma in Education for Art and Design Teaching, a Masters in Education from University College Cork and is currently working towards a PhD (Education) at the University of Limerick. Her aim is to provide H+A and its clients with real value in terms of education and training in combination with abilities in design and marketing.

Sorcha loves walking up mountains in the sunshine. She loves all things visual and really enjoys working with our senior citizens at Share in Cork which, she says, keeps everything in perspective.
