Robin O’Sullivan
Robin has been a Public Relations practitioner since l969, following twelve years as a journalist and broadcaster with "The Cork Examiner" and R.T.E. He established a Cork branch for a leading Dublin-based P.R. company in l969 and, having gained wide experience in both agency and in-company activity, was appointed a Director of Coca-Cola Bottlers (Munster) Ltd. In 1981 he resigned this position to set up O'Sullivan Public Relations Limited. He is a Past President of Chambers Ireland, a member of the Board of the National Consumer Agency, a Past President of Cork Chamber and a Past President of the Rotary Club of Cork Bishopstown. He has served as a Board member of the Irish Film Board, as the Director of the Cork Film Festival, a member of the Cork Group of the Institute of Personnel Management and a member of the Joint Labour Committee for the Soft Drinks Industry. He has been the Course Director and a lecturer for the Public Relations Institute of Ireland’s (P.R.I.I.) Diploma in Public Relations course at the Cork Institute of Technology and holds a Diploma in Law from University College, Cork. In December 2003 he was made an Honorary Life Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
