H+A recruiting new Senior Web Developer/Designer
H+A Marketing + PR, one of Ireland’s leading integrated communications agencies, is recruiting a Senior Web Developer/Designer to help support the growing online offering of the business and to help service increased demand from our clients.
This dynamic and critical role within H+A will be a mix of web development and managing a team of contractors to tight timescales and project plans.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years experience strong design skills and excellent knowledge of Photoshop, (X)HTML & CSS as well as expertise in usability and best practices. Familiarity with content management systems and an understanding of PHP, MySQL is desirable. Candidates should understand good UI design and layout, be familiar with accessibility issues, and be up to date on the latest web trends.
Essential Skills:
• Comfortable working with ExpressionEngine or similar CMS applications in a production environment
• Able to develop website architecture, design and UI styles for web-based applications that adhere to W3C standards
• Experience with user centered design, documentation such as site maps, user flows, and presentation specifications
• Strong working knowledge using current web technologies: DHTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Should be comfortable with Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver or similar
We’d also love it if you had:
• Flash and ActionScript skills
• Web development using Visual Studio, .NET or AJAX and/or PHP/MySQL
• Recent experience in creation of UI prototypes in latest Internet technologies
• JQuery or other Javascript libraries
• Awareness of social media and how it can enhance client web strategy
